We've all come across the supposedly comprehensive, metrics-that-matter lists that pervade the internet. For some reason, they all tend to have the same set of metrics. As someone who has turned to metrics for making countless decisions, I've experienced first-hand what matters (and what DOESN'T) across SaaS stages, and I'm here to retrace that very journey. In this talk, we'll talk about how metrics deceive us and how we deceive ourselves, the craft of tying SaaS goals and metrics, and take a wintry detour to Alaska :).
